As you may know, I am a very structured person. I believe that starting your day off right is essential if you want to be productive. The way you start your day has a huge impact on your success throughout the rest of the day. Having a structured routine during the COVID-19 crisis will motivate you to get up and going in the morning! Either way, establishing a solid daily routine can help you stay productive and consistent during a time where each day seems just like the last.
Let’s get started with the routine:
8:30 AM ~ Wake Up
I still like to get up around the same time every weekday, and I am already sleeping in about an hour and a half more than usual.
8:30 - 8:55 AM ~ Get Ready
8:30 - 8:35 AM ~ Brush Teeth
8:35 - 8:40 AM ~ Wash Face
8:40 - 8:55 AM ~ Breakfast
For about a year now, it has been a goal of mine to eat breakfast every single morning.
9:00 - 9:50 AM ~ Arabic Zoom Class
I am currently taking Beginning Arabic II which is a continuation of Beginning Arabic I. Emphasis on obtaining skill in reading, writing, speaking, and aural comprehension of modern standard Arabic.
10:00 - 10:30 AM ~ Shower and Moisturize
10:35 - 10:55 AM ~ Create To-Do List
Every morning, I like to just take a few minutes each morning to plan out my day. I make a list of what I need to get done that day and double-check my planner to see what's on the agenda today.
11:00 - 11:50 AM ~ Pentateuch Zoom Class
This course examines the first five books of the bible, analyzing key figures such as Abraham and Moses, as well as major theological themes such as covenant, the nature of God, the purpose of biblical law, and the Ten Commandments.
12:00 - 1:30 PM ~ Cook/Eat Lunch
1:30 - 5:00 PM ~ Misc. School Work
I use this time to complete assignments for all of my courses.
5:00 - 6:00 PM ~ Break
I take this time to have a break from a productive day. Usually, this consists of watching whatever is on my Hulu list.
6:00 - 7:30 PM ~ Cook/Eat Dinner
7:30 - 9:00 PM ~ Work Time
This semester I have an internship at a local non-profit that works with the Greater Saint Louis community to provide both food and wellness programs for under resource residents. During this time, I work on whatever assignments I have for the day.
9:00 - 11:30 PM ~ Free/Fruitful Time
This is the time I use to work on my blog and other endeavors I am currently working on.
11:30 - 12:00 AM ~ Get Ready for Bed
11:30 - 11:35 PM ~ Brush Teeth
11:35 – 11:50 ~ Pamper
I know this seems like a lot of time, but at night I like to pamper my skin. I love doing face masks at least twice a week.
11:50 - 12:00 ~ Read to Sleep
